She has a B.A. from Sonoma State University, a M.B.A. in Finance from Clark Atlanta University and a J.D. from University of Wisconsin Law School. After several years in Corporate America, Michelle was looking for more to feel fulfilled. After the loss of her job and the death of a friend, Michelle began to reflect on what was important to her.

She realized that in chasing the American Dream, she didn’t have enough time or money to do more of what was important to her: travel. Michelle began to research and decided that people teaching abroad had the lifestyle to which she aspired. In 2014, she made that aspiration a reality. Since then, Michelle has resided in the Middle East and has enjoyed teaching Business English, Finance and Business Law to undergraduate and graduate students and has traveled to over 60 countries. Michelle is the host of Flippin’ the Script podcast, which encourages women to embrace change.
